Judy, no, the original price target for the end of 2000 was $100 share. Actually the language I used was :" by the end of 2000 we will have seen $100/share" . Meaning, that by that time it might already be on "the other side" of the curve.

As For ADPT, I am not sure you need to actually see the DD turn (and some would say, they have turned, except the head's guys). I think that the Symbios acquisition was a master stroke, and eventually ADPT will earn close to $2/share. When that will be evident, the stock will be selling at a rich premium. As for an entry point, I had 17, but a week ago, I withdrew a GTC since we broke 19 to easily, and the late spring decline in the techs, is I believe, still ahead of us (today the SOX broke quite badly, but it was set up to do that anyway, IMO, Kurlak just gave it the push, or better yet, he recognized it, he is on record for the last 3 months that the SOX will go to 240).

As for WFR, we have different opinions here, Carl and Olduvai are already on board, I am still on the sideline, and of course, we have many long termers that have decided that trying to pick a bottom runs the risk of missing the move all together. The way I see it, I can now set a Buy stop at 15.75, and hope to be on the next ride if it breaks up, or wait until I see the white of the specialist's eyes to pull the trigger (G).

Judy, you asked if the original target was 200? Here are the original posts regarding long term goals. I suggested that WFR will hit 60 by the end of the century, and Zeev replied that it would hit 100. This was in September 1996.

Since then, I haven't changed my long term target from 60, not has Zeev changed from 100. That makes two pretty consistent predictions for the last year and a half.

The things that have changed over the years is that the cast of characters posting on this thread has increased a bit, and a few people have left. Zeev later added a goal of 11 (I think) for the bottom, which he has since modified to 13. And I became more of a trader, bailing at 32 for the most part. I have been mostly out of the stock since then until this week, though I do own some long term shares.

Good luck,

Carl
