Barron's GMI was 434.86 on 5/14, up slightly from 431.87 last week. With the POG at 300.90, the ratio is 1.445, almost unchanged. The indicator remains bullish.

Let's hope history does not repeat (although if given any choice- I vote for the Oct 1997 version vs Oct 1987). Oct 1997 was a great buying opportunity.
