Richard,

I know desert dirt is a term of endearment in your dictionary and didn't take it any other way. I respect your interest in the group. I was just explaining why I view the Naxos situation as being different.

I don't know about Maxam or IPM so I can't comment.

You state the a high cost extraction method is what it will take for Naxos. What do you base that opinion on? The question of cost of extraction is still an open issue but I suspect Franklin Lake will have a lower cost of extraction than you suspect. They are getting results with standard fire assay which indicates it could be mined with conventional techniques. From what I have heard so far it does not appear that there is a big problem with interfering elements, nothing really difficult. Indications are good that the material is an oxide not a sulfide which would help, although this still needs to be confirmed. In addition there are additional metals such as the platinum group.
