A bit surprising IDTI held up so well compared to NSM and AMD.
The predicted cpu glut along with NSM warnings really impacted
NSM and AMD but not IDTI .... it may just take a little longer
I am still sitting on the sidelines but may get in as the story
unfolds: clear-logic , cpu market , com chips and the
overall semi ind.Even though the current price is lower than
anyone expected it is still higher than recent lows.
The failure of IDT to produce higher speed cpu's presents
a serious risk.....the low end is quickly becoming 233 mhz
and the PII /slot 1 arch is also now a big threat to the low
end.....not to mention the predicted cpu glut...hmmm Idti may
not get my money even at 9......of course i am an IDIOT[-}

Hi Nigel, I don't mind planting seeds if I think there's going to be a harvest! So far, IDTI has had a pile of cycles for me.

My lap top computer has an Intel processor and the darned cooling fan on the chip runs much of the time when I am using it as my "base station" computer. Those that have stated IDTI should target the Laptop market because of low power drain are right. I would happily change to an IDTI processor to gain battery life and also get rid of the noise from the darned fan. Unfortunately, when I checked voltage, mine was not compatible with IDTI's. Maybe someday!!

Best regards, Tom
