Ken,

I do not think that MSU will be terribly upset about Zilog. As usual Ron has summed up the importance or otherwise of this development.

With regard to the registration period, yes it has dragged on but I am led to believe that before Christmas financing discussions were taking place which precluded any announcements. Whilst these were ongoing the AIME discussions must have started and as we all know, dragged on for what seems like an eternity.

As a result of the AIME deal I assume that MSU did not feel the need for the pre Christmas finance, but because they could have used the AIME deal as a catalyst for reorganising their balance sheet they are still in registration. These are just my thoughts but I think that if we demonstrate patience now I hope that we will be pleasantly surprised and very pleasantly rewarded when it becomes clear that possibly MSU has turned the corner finally and is about to embark on a more solid period of its history. Remember, just my tuppence ha'penny .

**Off Topic**
I do have to say something which Ron Reece will appreciate, or at least her indoors, (his wife), will.

The 328i kicks the M3's posterior ! I sold my M3 Evolution, (321bhp, 6 speed, etc, etc.) and bought a 328i Touring (station wagon). Do you have the Touring in the U.S.?

I know, I know, but all round I thinkI made the right choice. Especially as I can get at least one of my trusty Cannondales into it without removing a wheel !! I will admit that I am looking at an Alpina 328i Touring, which has circa 260bhp and will help me through the male menopause!!

But I am still hopelessly in love with the E30 M3 and have owned approximately 10 of the little darlings right through from the original 1987 car to the 238bhp 2.5 litre last incarnation, including one I raced for 5 years. I've only had 3 of the E36 models so I think that sums it up.

Good luck next week everyone.

regards,

del.
