Jim,

Pull down a 1 year chart on APCO. Then consider that with the recent deals that were signed, especially with BancOne, revenue and earnings are going to continue to accelerate. The chart puts the recent dip into perspective quite well. The trend is your friend on this one because nothing has happened fundamentally to cause the trend to turn down.

In addition APCO has no cost of goods sold risk. They make money on every contract because they know what their costs are going to be up front and price their products accordingly. The warranties are all insured so there's no problem if more cars come back for repair than they expected. The more they sell the more they make.

Even if the market goes sour APCO is as good investment for a 12-24 month hold as anything out there IMO.

Jim, I was responding to Jim Strauss' post about quality stocks
in a down market. APCO fits the bill and is not likely to dissapoint.
