<<I wonder if this problem might have effected LGND's share price over the last year?>>

Robert, my partners and I have discussed this possible patent problem several times in the past. IMO it has affected the amount of money some have been willing to pay for LGND. It would be interesting to know where this stands as we speak. I think it is a point worth making that LGND must have some confidence as work continues at full speed.

Good Luck,
Greg

Bob, The Roche patent issue is several years old. I has been discussed many times here and on Yahoo!. LGND has an earlier filing date and the discovered that 9-cis retinoic acid was a natural hormone in a 1992 Cell paper.
