John, I notice some of your posts are from news groups. I have a hard time believing much of the content in news groups as they do not have to make sure what they are saying is accurate.

I also have a hard time believing much of what I see in the media.

I would like to see research papers from credible (non bias) engineers who have actually found major problems in embedded systems.

From all the news articles about embedded chip problems, there should be tons, and tons of reports. Or maybe they haven't finished checking into the matter at this time.

Like I have said, and you know this by now, I never said there was no Y2K problem or that it is not serious.

I have an open mind, maybe one day I will be stocking up my basement with food and supplies.

Until then I like hard core facts.
