Justin, I'm not sure if Bill Gates would know a for-next loop from an if-then-else statement from a perform-varying statement. Re studying code in dumpsters, perhaps you're confusing that with studying the hex data dump of an assembly program.

But it doesn't matter anyway. Bill delivered. He lashed the good ship MSFT together, and he stands firm at the wheel. I kinda like him. I like anyone that stands up to irrational demands of an overbearing govt dept that makes up new rules as it goes.

Justin,

>Anyway I'll always have a geek-award for Bill Gates, because he da man that delivered everything, and continues to do so.

>>Isn't that the guy that learned everything he knows about software from studying code that he found in dumpsters?

Must be why Bill's so big on "intellectual property rights" and "piracy laws".

I doubt Encarta will have that in Bill's biography.

Cheers,

Norm
