I agree physics is way beyond my brain also. I have no problem with the creation. There must be a creator and I'm sure we all have different concepts even if of the same beliefs. A good party game is to get each one to write down their brief description of God. Then collect them and read with no names and listen for responses.

Even evolution could be the creators way. Of course this greatly disturbs the inpired bible believers.

Bob, my understanding is that Hawking has repudiated the misunderstanding about God creating the universe in his book which you are using to justify your belief system. He is a rationalist for the most part, as far as I know. Why is it necessary to have scientists on your side, anyway, if you are sure about your beliefs? Many scientists at least believe in some kind of dominant creative force in the universe, which religious. I don't see why you need Hawking to prove anything.
