Yogi, Moderate is the place to be. The old joke about conservatives and liberals and the drowning man says it all.

A man is drowning and a conservative spots a rope on the beach. He throws it half way out to the water-logged dude and, with a sneer on his face, says, "swim for it, you lazy bum."

Meanwhile, on another part of the beach, another man is drowning and a liberal finds a rope. He throws it all the way out to the drowning man, who thanks him profusely as he grabs it. "I am pleased to help my fellow man," he says, and his face beams with a grin a foot wide. The liberal then lets go of the other end of the rope and moves off to perform another good deed elsewhere.

I forget who said it ( memory IS the second thing to go),but I have found it to be true:

"A young man who is not a liberal has no heart-- an old man who is not a conservative has no brain".

I judge you to be a very intelligent, middle aged man, Mr. Anderson.< g>
