Whoooo. I saw Shall We Dance a while back. I didn't like it much at all. (Well, actually, now that I am remembering it, I am experiencing some nostalgic feelings. So I guess it must have registered somewhere.)

It had a very Hollywood feel to it, not what I was expecting at all.

Saw Boogie Nights. I didn't love it. Didn't hate it. Unimpressed with the token penis shot. It seemed well made, Marky Mark was pretty good (I liked him better as the wide-eyed youngster), but I never really cared about the folks, I remained at a distance, with a little bit of empathy. I thought the woman who played the "mother" figure was rather good, though. Recommended if you already have an interest. Perhaps a must see, but definitely at the end of a long queue of Must See's.
