Thomas,

I'm just starting to look at this region, and Lukoil
in particular. I guess most people find what I have
found - a dearth of concrete information. But before
I invest, I need some basic fundamental info. Do
you have any web sites or other sources that you
use to value companies in this region?

Thanks,
Mike

I guess you are right. Today was a crash. I wonder where
the bottom could be; the market is already extremely low.
Leaves me wondering when my shorts
here will pay off. If the ruble collapses, there will be unrest.
Most people's savings have already gone to zero because of some 1000x
inflation since 1991. Unrest in a country with more than 1000
warheads... It will be interesting how the world reacts. Rates were
hiked today to 50%.
