Elwood, I would have thought that some on Wall Street might make a connection between what Gerstner at IBM said about services growth and the fact that CPQ will now be a player in that arena also. Apparently this is not the case, at least not yet.... John

ELWOOD ---CPQ should join the DOGS of the DOW and start paying a dividend . At least their would some income coming in ! I sure would like to know how the HOUSTON CHRONICLE could select CPQ the company of the year with management's major screw-up in stuffing the channel . I really believed the lawyers have a good case against this company with EP getting 70 million dollar last year based upon the stock's performance while overloading the channel at the same time . I guess I am tired of this company not performing while I keep being told how great a management team it has . Last time I checked DELL , GTW, IBM are in the same business and their stock is up for the year BEST WISHES BILL P.S. SORRY but I had to unload - too damn much money sitting in a company that has not had it act together lately ---and really do not have a feel when it will
