Well, I learned one good leason the past two weeks. Never transfer stock from one brokerage account to another. I am in the process of transferring Adaptec. I 've watched it loose 25% of its value and still waiting for the transfer. I was trying to save $10 by not selling the stock and just doing a transfer to Datek. Well, it has cost me over a $1000. Thats one expensive transfer. Its too late to sell it now. If a person was going to sell he should have sold the day after earnings. I am thinking about doubling my position? Good luck!
