FYI-FWIW Shareholders meeting lasted about half an hour. Nothing earth-shattering that I could tell. Very little questioning from shareholders. One person (indicated that he had a 1% position) asked about compensation matters. Seems that the head of the microbiology division will be paid until fall even though it is for sale. All propositions on proxy passed (big surprise, huh!). Decision on which of the first two will be filed to be made later today by BOD. Lavallie indicated that he was in favor of 1/6 reverse split, but would not speak for other members. Responded to question about percentage of cyto revenues accounted for by Leica . Indicated about 60% of the ~1 mil. Said that sales force had attended 1 week retreat for increasing sales. If I understood correctly, there will be another one in June. Most memorable quote: "Our major competitor is the status-quo." I taped the meeting, but haven't listened yet. Don't know if it is even audible, but if it is and anything else of importance (assuming any of this is) I will post it.
