I think this revenue recognition policy discussion is a red herring. I'm sure sebl is already compliant with sop97-2. We should be concerned about the business fundamentals.

Melissa, I re-read Steve Farbers post. You are correct I misunderstood - I thought he was saying the RR policies had disappeared, in fact they were never there.

And your point about the few large deals being audited, is that correct? I don't know what audit procedures are... but you believe for example the cisco revenue recognition was carefully audited? If thats the case then we're fine unless they throw out their auditors!
