I think this revenue recognition policy discussion is a red herring. I'm sure sebl is already compliant with sop97-2. We should be concerned about the business fundamentals.

Melissa, I re-read Steve Farbers post. You are correct I misunderstood - I thought he was saying the RR policies had disappeared, in fact they were never there. And your point about the few large deals being audited, is that correct? I don't know what audit procedures are... but you believe for example the cisco revenue recognition was carefully audited? If thats the case then we're fine unless they throw out their auditors! Michelle Edit: Sorry Trader Dave I'm a little paranoid about this issue because I think Larry Ellison and Tom Siebel may be the same person.
