Delphi/GM using li polymer in autos by the year 2000 is HUGE news. Now if Motorola can design a cell phone that looks like the new beetle, Valence will be off and running.

No news? I reread the announcement over and over and could find no room for pessimism. The two organizations concluded a collaboration that proved successful for both entities. Delphi reaches a "milestone" and Lev sounds happy. Delphi works one side of the street, VLNC the other. Maybe I had better read the announcement again. However, want to make a sidebet where this stock ends tomorrow? Tumbleweed.

It appears that what moved the stock was the positive comments from both parties in the press release. The association was described as successful, the licensing is mutually beneficial, Lev mentioned getting to market soon, and Delphi mentioned a potentially big application for the technology. It was all qualitative stuff; you obviously would be happy with quantitative news.
