Zach, Nope, that isn't the one I was talking about. It was a site away from SI. The folks who write it guarantee that you will make 60 pct. a year. -g-

I don't hate covered call writing, though it is the more expensive, synthetic way to sell a put while holding cash. Same strategy, same risk, less commission/friction costs and more liquidity. But I have probably sold more covered calls than anyone in the world, having run one of the most active equity covered call accounts there is and the largest and most active fixed income covered call mutual fund in the country. The simple fact is, secured puts were frowned upon while covered calls were approved by everyone. Weird people. -g-
