Can anyone clue in this clueless one?

I've started to investigate this company for possible purchase. What drew my attention here is the substantial and consistent insider buying by some beneficial owners. The most recent filing was 5/15/98 for 180,000 shrs @ 3.12 purchased between 4/2 - 4/29. What is most impressive is that these buyers are averaging up.

I've read most of the posts on this thread and have read about an investment co. called Allen something. Can someone clue me in on who these guys are and what their track record is. My insider tracking service doesn't identify who the beneficial owners are.

Btw, you posters on this thread do great work. Very impressive. Thanks in advance.

>> elucidate the mechanism ...

Your note hits on why I am interested in CYPB. My father was
one of the first MDs to use gas chromatography in clinical
applications ... the Protein-A column strikes me as a similar
differential technique with lots of potential applications...
not the least of which is as a pretty interesting research tool.

Twas me, I'd be going after those column residuals hammer and tongs.
Got to be some discoveries "bound" in those columns in more ways than one.

My read is that the CYPB upside is huge ... there's 20 years of
R&D yet to be done with this technique.

Do you think there's any room in the area of "doping" the column
to be more specific for desired effects?
