Did TAVA make almost $1 mil.? In Q2, ending 12/31/97, Tava reported a loss of $581,000. Of that, $499,000 was non-cash. Amort. of good will and software was $258,000. Depreciation was $241,000. So the loss from operations, or cash loss, was $82,000. In Q3, Tava reported a net profit of $301,000. Amortization was $383,000, a non-cash expense. I'll assume that depreciation was again $241,000 since I haven't seen this figure yet. So on an operating basis, it looks like Tava made $925,000. That's over $.04/share. Also, shareholder equity was up $5.9 mil. over 12/31/97. Also, the $4 mil. senior credit facility, used to repay short-term debt, has no current liability - it's similar to a zero bond's borrow now, pay later features. I suspect $1.6 mil. of the facility was used.
