FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--
Natural MicroSystems and 11 Partners Demonstrate the Power of Open Telecommunications
Natural MicroSystems, the technology leader in Open Telecommunications(tm), and 11 of its partners will showcase their products at the CTI Expo Spring '98 show held this week in Baltimore, Maryland. Among the Open Telecommunications solutions being demonstrated in the Natural MicroSystems Pavilion are IP Telephony gateways, call center systems, interactive voice response systems, SS7 solutions, and IP Fax applications.
Additionally Natural MicroSystems' executives will be speaking at the show on a wide range of industry topics including IP Telephony, PC-based PBXs and Software Development for Computer Telephony. Demonstrations
Among the Open Telecommunications products and technologies being demonstrated by Natural MicroSystems are:
IP Voice Natural MicroSystems' award-winning platform, Fusion, will be shown running 192 ports of IP Telephony under simulated real-world conditions. Additionally Fusion's support for standard G.723.1 vocoder will be demonstrated.
High Availability Compact PCI Natural MicroSystems will demonstrate the "Hot Swap" features of the Alliance Generation T1/E1 board, the first CompactPCI board available for building telco-grade applications. Additionally the company will demonstrate a telecom application running in a CompactPCI chassis and switching over the H.110 telephony bus.
SS7 Also demonstrated will be Natural MicroSystems' integration of the SS7 TX Series of data networking products illustrating how SS7 is used for call setup and control techniques in large scale computer telephony applications.
Alliance Partners Eleven of Natural MicroSystems Alliance Partners will exhibiting in the NMS booth and demonstrating their latest Open Telecommunications products: Clarent, Hammer Technologies, Information Gateways, Inter-Tel, Price Interactive, NetCentric, NetSpeak, Skywave, Inc., Teltone, Voice Technologies Group and WhiteCap.
