<Clearly you don't understand how things work.>

<And the evolution of that socio-economic majority (whatever that means).>

These two statements speak for themselves.

<Yeah, its like going to a restaurant where the menu was created by the advertisers, the manufacturers and everybody else that wants your dollar. Now as you scan this fabulous selection, you notice that what you really wanted isn't on the menu? So you order number 5 and everyone triumphantly exclaims, see...the customer has decided.>

Actually, you order something that isn't onthe menu and the waitress tells you we don't have it, can't you read? Now, when 50 other people order it, each with more money and social clout than the first guy, the restuarant owner tells the chef he better put that heavily requested item on the menu before he gets fired.

Socio-economic majority.

"In the US, the socio-economic majority decides .."

Reginald,

I was thinking about this term and trying to figure out what it means, but it just seems empty. What in the world is socio-economic majority?
Who is in it and what exactly does it decide? Does it mean (for instance);

- All the people that have more than 50% of the wealth? In that case it sure isn't a majority.

- Or maybe its all the people that buy PC's, but that's not a majority

My tiny brain just can't seem to hold a concept as large as socio-economic majority. Please help

Thure
