Darrell
People who had bid up Dell in the past couple weeks were *NOT* thinking
$.415 as an estimate. Believe me.
A lot of people(*) were speculating on the "greater fool theory", and
expecting "blowout" numbers to bail them out finally. That has *not*
happened. No "blowout" numbers, means that there is going to be a
slight rush to the exits(imho). I, for one, fully intend to short
on any strength($92+).
Condsider this quote from a dell spokesperson:

<<"And year-over-year will be more
challenging because each year we are raising the
bar. Tough comparisons should continue [because
of the strong results Dell had for each quarter last
year]."
>>

In other words, the earnings growth will likely be slower.

* Not pointing to long term "longs". They have done well!

I should add, father e, the analyst at brown had a "whisper" number of $.43. his official estimate was lower. it all depends on who the street decides to publish.
