ChiCom Govt. Denies 300K Contribution to Demo-Cats: In an official denial, the ChiCom govt. says that PLA Colonel Liu gave 300K out of her "own" chump change from the goodness of her own heart ... 1/ If this is so, how did she get the hard currency money out of China which has very strict currency controls? 2/ In this case, why do they still need Ex-Im Bank and OPIC guarantees which are ultimately obligations of the US taxpayers? ... They can finance military and infrastructure development out of would-be donations (!!!). One can ask another hundred questions in this vein but, let's hope that the House Special Panel chaired by Chris Cox will have the smarts to get the truth out. Jimmy Carville & Gang are mum. PBS has run a very good interview re: special prosecutor Smaltz investigation into Espy & Bunch corruption at the US Dept. of Agriculture. AG Reno blocked the rest of the investigation when leads on payoffs were pointing to Clinton.
