You make a valid point that I forgot in my post -- Gates was warned about that specific issue. Thanks for reminding me.

As I said in previous posts I can see legitimate arguments on both sides of the aisle. I don't believe there ever were or ever could be such a thing as a completely "unfettered" market -- question is what kind of control is exerted. If DOJ restrains itself to this one issue -- the bundling of the internet browser -- it may be politically motivated, but I don't see it as all that terrible for our economy in general or for the specific market. Let's see how it plays out.

On another note, with all the phone mergers that have taken place and the one recently announced are we putting back together "public enemy number one?"
