Big, I've been getting hammered on CDG. bought June 50 options last week on a dip !!!, unfortunately it keeps dipping. It was showing a sign of basing yesterday and is down again today. Do you think there is anything to look forward to in the next 30 days ?

On a short fuse. any comments would be appreciated.

kurt

FGII - ''money in the bank'' ...

I agree. I've been ''window shopping'' FGII for a month or so ... dreaming of sub $30, but saw no realistic set of circumstances which would allow that price level. I bought yesterday @ $36 1/4. I wanted FGII in my portfolio to compliment my HLX holdings. Both have substantial backlogs of business and dynamic growth looking forward. I believe I'll get a ''crossover'' effect from these companies as together if one misses a major contract - the other would be the likely #2 player...

FGII has to be a core holding; hopefully this will be the last ''sale'' price for FGII ... now $35 +/- sure looks enticing for more; what a great entry point for new buyers. I'll wait for $30 to re-enter in case we are seeing something similar to the March selloff.

MIND, PKD & TCMS sure look awfully cheap; near or even below the March sell off price-points. MIND is a classic buy on the bad news, beaten down scenario, PKD is just dirt cheap - land drillers that have been hit hard have to be the ''patient mans'' goldmine, TCMS is a small/micro-cap high growth service stock with very strong sales and earnings growth - suffering from 6 month post IPO selloff and low trading volume (undiscovered?) all most unbelieveable for a strong niche player with this growth potential @ these prices.

...and OMNI; sure looks like the next VTS or FGII in the making. Is this the next oil patch superstar ?

Seriously though, has ANYONE bought ANYTHING yet today or in the past few days? Is anyone REALLY buying FGII today or are people wondering how LOW it's gonna go? Are people REALLY waiting for it to go sub-30 again before buying? Will there be ANOTHER shakeout of these stocks before we've seen the REAL bottom, near-term? For stocks like MDCO and FGII which are falling fairly rapidly, can these stocks REALLY turn around or is there something we don't know about?

Oh, sorry. I was just posting some thoughts that were going through my head before buying, natural fears and questions prior to plopping down some $$ to buy these stocks. These thoughts HAVE to be going through everyone's heads right?

Aren't they?

Big Boy:

I was checking out the picture of your empty swimming pool on your website---I think you ought to volunteer it for oil storage right away. There seems to be a problem in that area. <g>
