I bought some MDCO at 20. It now looks like I'll be holding awhile!

<<can these stocks REALLY turn around>>

Just look at the charts. FGII at 24, CDG at about 35 or so, RIG at what, about 40 if I recall. Turned on a dime and ran up 50% or more.

But, seeing as we've jus confirmed a lower low, I think I'll wait for technical signs of a turnaround. I'd rather lose a couple of points on the upside right now than try to guess at the bottom.

I'm probably not a buyer today. Although I've been looking to get back into FGII.

The whole sector has been in an unjustified uptrend, IN MY OPINION. that's why I shorted GLBL just before its massive breakout a few weeks ago. I am convinced that with the MASSIVE GLUT of oil, that we will see lower prices across the board on all these stocks.

the uptrend, IN MY OPINION was predicated on a floor and uptrend in oil which we have not seen. I think these stocks will get cheaper although I may buy some on the way down since I have become painfully aware of my inability to correctly time the market.

I sold my last FGII at 35 and change on the way up last time so buying it back now at the same price would just prove this time that buy and hold would have been better. To top it off, I put my FGII profits into some losers so I actually would have been better off just holding FGII.

Later,
Richard

Baz, if you really want to know...

I've been nibbling in VERY small amounts this week:

FGII at 39, 37, 36, and 35...better bargains each time.
MDCO at 20 1/8
VRC at 26.50
TMAR at 21 11/16

Yes FGII seems to be having fun on the slide, but MDCO really hasn't been bad at all. Get 'em while they are cheap.

Now that I have confessed all, what kind of beer do you drink?
