Well, just as I anticipated, I'm not doing well with 3.5! In your response a few days ago you said: just copying the profile subdirectory carried over all my symbols and their userdata associations just fine....

Not only did this not work when I used the "copy" program on Nirvana's CD, but I absolutely cannot find my custom profiles that I use in 3.2, although they are still available to 3.2 when I run it.

Using EXPLORE and going to the C:\NIRVANA directory, then clicking on the "profiles" subdir displays all the Nirvana profiles, but not a single one of my old custom profiles.

I haven't a clue what to do now... any thoughts?

TIA... Ken

Well, all it took was a few minutes to think about what the heck I was doing! For reasons I thought valid at the time, I installed 3.2 in a different directory than the default that Nirvana suggests.

When I had trouble with it Nirvana suggested I reinstall. When I did that, I just went with the default. But by then, all my custom profiles were "lost" on the other directory. Blah, blah, blah.

Once I remembered doing all that, it took about 15 seconds to copy them from one to the other. Case closed <G>.

Boy, 3.5 is fast...eh?
