One big weakness in your theory: GSCO may be on the ask side, but another house may be making the sales, without showing up on your Level II. You overlook this, and therefore think you know more than you actually do. This is my point. No one but GSCO knows what GSCO is doing at any given moment.

Yes they have been on the sell side a lot, and probably even selling a lot, on behalf of several different mutual funds and institutional investors.

But so what? All that tells us is that a lot of money managers want to get out of this stock right now. But we already knew that from looking at the price chart.

The fact that they may be doing so through Goldman is meaningless, and will continue to be, despite the GSCO conspiracy theory which continues to linger in this thread.
