Thanks for that up to date info. It seems as though they have a genuine desire for democracy hope they succeed.I wonder whether Sunkarnoputri might figure in the possible upcoming elections??? If so i hope she doesn't carry too much of here dad's genes.

What's your take on SIDBY now? It's gone up a bit with rest of KLSE, like MAYBANK. You think Dr. M and rest of top politicians learning from Indonesia ? -- or do they, like me, say "it won't happen in M'sia, we're different".

CNN reports that Suharto has resigned.

I am hopeful,and prayerful, that the overall shifts in geopolitics mitigate the risk of a repeat of 1965.
