Yes, and you are wrong.

Trades take place all the time through market makers who are not displayed on the bid or ask on your Level II, whether you want to admit it or not. I don't know how simple I can make this.

This sentence is almost surreal, and certainly the product of fuzzy thinking. It makes no sense.

Osmosis was from science class, remember? These are the financial markets.

When I make trades with one market maker, they are not somehow "absorbed" to become trades with another market maker.
