What is up with the "2 year" thing anyway?

In case you missed it...

"The president of Crystallex International's Venezuelan operations, Dr. Enrique Tejera-Paris, has told newspapers in Bolivar state that resolution of the legal dispute between it and the Venezuelan government currently before the supreme court may drag on for another two or three years."

"Commenting on the president-director's comment about the length of time to resolve the legal dispute, Ms. Atkinson says it would not surprise her if it took two or three years to be completed. "I don't think any of us understood how long it was going to take because we were naive when it came to how important it is to them," she says, referring to the government of Venezuela. "You know, it's not important to them. We should have maybe clicked to that."

Bigtoe, the people don't care about the courts, they want the work. That place will turn ugly if this drags on. Many people were thrown out of work and they are blaming the government. These people also blame gringos. That is the way they are. There is great political pressure there.

About 5 five years ago there was a riot in Caracas because the government raised the price of gasoline. At that time gas was cheaper than a bottle of water. In the kilometer 88 region the people don't like the gringos. The region will become unstable if this drags on. I would hate to be the mine manager of a mine in an unstable region. The bull you hear about the the people and government loves KRY is complete horseshit. KRY has lied to you bigtoe.

It will take more than 2 years before KRY can do anything. Your director said it not me.
