Jeff,
The buyer I hooked you up with has been unsuccessful attempting to purchase your shares. Waterhouse said the transaction would be illegal w/o going thru Hill-Thompson (?)...Call your broker, call me, this guy will buy them at $1.25, but, has been fighting with your clearinghouse over this.

.... the margin requirement for
any short position depends
on the last trade price or if marked-to-market the last offer price.
Apparently Mork minions have managed to collapse the price down to
$0.10 to greatly reduce the amount of money neeeded to meet their
margin obligation. It is very likely that the money previously needed
for margin has been moved to oversea accounts. Then if trades occur
at greatly higher prices Mork can just declare bankruptcy and someone
else has to come up with the money. IMO, anyways..

How did the transaction at $0.10 occur????
Whoever did this should have run into the same difficulty we had,
namely there is no MM quoting a bid and ask. So how did they
LEGALLY get the trade done? ( did a certain broker assist in this?)

How does Hill-Thompson get away with posting a bid price for RMIL??
According to the SEC announcement, no one can quote prices for RMIL
until a form '211 is submitted. A "bid" is a quotation of a price at
which a MM is willing to purchase shares.

RMIL SHAREHOLDERS MUST COMPLAIN about Hill-Thompson to the
SEC!!!. It is not clear if this would help long shareholders or if it
would hurt. If the complaint is successful then Hill could not post
an RMIL bid. Doesn't seem like it accommplishes much; except it might
mean that Hill-Thompson will have more difficulty covering their short.

I understand perfectly. Midland is a company that is following through. Today's news + the dividend on the preferred are actions of a stock that is only typically found in NYSE stocks.

RMIL on the other hand.......
