It looks like to me their licensing their technology for millions that cost them hundreds of millions to develop. Not a good ROI. Well at least the CEO is taking home his big paycheck.

Responding negatively to Bosch deal?

Historically BBTK is bought on the rumor and sold on the news. More favorable press releases have brought the price down in the past.

The implications of this news are not clear. It means big changes with unknown risks. While these risks may be less than the previous strategy, it changes the investor makeup. For example, a reason to buy BBTK before was the possibility of a buy out or a big win (e.g., SBC deployment throughout its region). In other words, a long shot. High risk, low probability, big pay off. This has not materialized over the past 8 or 9 years, and wasn't going to happen before BBTK was broke.

Orr is changing this. Instance of a one in a million long shot, he is trying to give the company a higher probability of success. A little here, a little there. Cut the losses. Build a simple product with an existing market. Make deals that provide for the future of BBTK. Concentrate on the present and the known future versus "the possible future."

Maybe too little too late, but I would NOT fault Orr.
