This is possible however it was not given as an explanation by Samantha. I didn't ask the actual question of why it is taking so long.
Would have been a nice one though .

OK, I'm gonna break my personal vow not to join the nailbiting here. Since I was the one who originally posted the BigiSoft info(and thanks, TED, for confirming that, yes, my contact was indeed Mickey Mouse) I have some comments:

I agree with those who have stated that the BigiSoft deal is really only a name change. It represents, IMO, a transition from BMR being essentially personally funded by Bemer himself, to a private company that now has a number of investors who will pursue the further development and commercial prospects of Vertex 2000. As I see it, they have the option to pursue any relationships already established by Bemer himself or any other commercial possibilities. But, of course, they are in it for the money and will make any deals they can to make Vertex as widely available as possible. Who knows, TPII may still get an exclusive license for Canada.

What I find most curious is that two people have posted here that BMR required 1-2 beta customers in order to proceed with a deal with TPII and in the past week I haven't seen any trace of anyone checking this with TPII. Do they have any customers lined up? Where are they looking? In Canada? In the US?

The formation of BigiSoft is not a reason in itself to delay a deal with TPII, since the responsibility appears to be with TPII to meet BMR's conditions for proceeding with a deal.

But if TPII is holding out for something like North American exclusivity, forget it.
