taoman: Re: name change ... First of all, let me commend you for being the first to bring the BigiSoft info to the thread. From what I understand, you and Mickey had a nice visit. You'll have to show us the autographed Mouse Ears he gave you. I'm unsure about the "just a name change" idea. If it's just a name change, then why would BigiSoft go to the trouble of Incorporating, then filing the legal paperwork to acquire the patent licenses and intellectual property of BMR Software? If they were just going to change their name, it would have just taken a simple legal document and public posting (maybe just in the Richardson, TX newspaper?). Perhaps this was done (whatever it is) to correct some inefficiencies in the original corporate legal definition that would have hampered growth, or exposed BMR to some legal restraints or liabilities. I think that at the very least, there was a change in the power structure and organizational makeup of the company. Whatever ... perhaps from the outside, it appears as "just a name change". But, I'd be surprised if there weren't something else beneath the covers that provided impetus for the action. Thanks to Matt Hubert for posting the results of his call to IR. I sure hope TPI follows through with a contractual agreement of some sort. My understanding has been that, similar to others' comments posted here, the signing hangup was that TPI had not provided a Beta site. I don't know why there should be a problem getting one of TPI's contacts interested in being a Beta, other than there has been quite a bit of skepticism about the overall "bigit" solution and its technical feasibility. This has been an interesting situation. Regards, TED
