hilm, as a urologist, how do you decipher what a "90 day supply is?"
I know some urologists are concerned about how to define that.
also, i've heard that there is supposedly a higher potential of risk among gay men because of the use of amyl nitrates (poppers) for recreational use. any truth to that?

regards.

Viagra is not alone, dr. hilm:

My one-time-fiance detailed for Ciba-Geigy at the time they introduced Transderm Nitro. She eventually panicked at the altar, which I attribute to trauma which arose after a doc unfamiliar with nitro patches used electrodes to kick start a patient and she exploded. <ggg>

.... shift happens

Short of tattooing a blue 'V' on your Viagra patients' foreheads,
what be done to prevent the inadvertent administering of nitro in
emergency situations?

hilm, do you know if are there other emergency medication options other than nitroglycerine to provide ER relief to a heart attack patient that would not have the dangerous possibility of interacting with Viagra to create the blood pressure problem?

What is the time period or half-life of Viagra? If a patient takes Viagra, then 3 hours later develops angina-type symptoms..is it alright to give nitro or do we have to wait a prescribed amount of time? BTW,what ever happened to venous ligation as a cure to venous insufficency cause for impotence?
