From what I have been told its not a FREE upgrade. Have they changed their stance on this? What I was told it was: If you wanted to get the upgrade to NetWare 5 on any new IntranetWare 4.11 purchase, you had to purchase a Premium Pack with the IntranetWare. So it is not free. Please tell me they have made the upgrade to NetWare 5 free from this point on. I will have to make some calls! Thanks Paul. Toy

Paul, I just listened to the Conference call. If you listen carefully you will hear that Schmidt's "free upgrade" statement was corrected. For every new 4.11 purchase customers will receive a "First Look" pack that will provide a discount on the upgrade to NetWare 5. As for your previous comments on the Question relating to the NT platform products and revenues... You really butchered Schmidt's (and Stone's) responses. They did point out NDSforNT, and pointed out that management of the Network is the focus and NT is managed better by Novell than with Microsoft products. I would strongly suggest that before you all make opinions on the postings that Paul and some others have Paraphrased, you should seriously listen to the Conference call. Schmidt did a much better and effect job on responding than these negative posters are trying to portray. Paul I don't mind that you provide negative NOVL postiings but its not constructive to this board that they are also not objective, out-of-context, or not accurate. Toy
