I listened to the call as well. Schmidt knows what he is doing.
I am holding my pretty large position, and will buy more
if it goes below 10.5, and be happy if it never goes below
that again, which is pretty possible.

My sense from the IS clients I have is that we will be living
in a hetereogenous world, and that NDS and related products
will be one key part of that world. Novell will be at $25+
in 12-18 months if we have a neutral/positive market.
Netware 5 and NDS for NT will be a powerful combo driving
massive upgrades, with continued Internet growth driving
demand for these core products and key extras such as Border Manager.
I really like this stock, and see no scenario for a significant downdraft.

So you finally listened to the conference call. You put the beer down!!!

So explain to us the part about deferred earnings from the upgrade pack. And why don't you call Novell and find out the cost difference between purchasing the upgrade pack and purchasing the final Netware 5 and give us an analysis of the revenue impact?

Hmmmm. Sure beats calling me Mr. Negativity.
