You are right. If MANU gets acquired, this entire fiasco might actually be the best thing for MANU in the long-run. SAP is the 800-lb gorilla and ITWO is winning HUGE deals and Peoplesoft & Baan are well aware of this. Buying MANU would put PSFT or BAANF in a much more competitive position.

Could this be the long expected ( and long feared ) Y2K problem kicking in? I sold some of my SAP shares, simply out of respect for what the omens are saying.
