Speaking of Texas... Fish meal anyone?
techweb.com

Also, Mike... any opinions on Southwest Securities (like do
you have any idea if their recs are good, are they good
brokers, etc..)? (If you have opinions on their merit as an
investment, I guess that's of interest as well.)

Cheers,

HB

Mike, any thoughts on SGI? Currently @ p/s 0.62 and p/b 1.20. Rick Belluzzio did a good job of turning around HWP and has replaced Egg McCracken<g> as ceo.I got in at 12 and change but I guess I forgot to take off my lead boots when I jumped in the water. Is'nt bottom fishing fun...<G>
BTW, speaking of bottoms, any Idea(s) why MWY's price has been steadily declining for the past two weeks? Do you think the reasons are technical or is there bad news coming?

thanks

>>Tipster, What I don't understand is, if all that lottery rip off is going to schools, why
can't kids in Texas read or count? <G><<

mike, you know what slick willy and the california gang did to their state? sure, they earmarked the lottery money for the schools - and touted it to high heaven. then they took out an equal portion from the schools and slapped it back in the gen'l fund - and never said a d*mn thing.

Michael,

Because their not giving them anything more than what they were going to give them to begin with, the deal in Texas is that the lottery money goes into the general fund not education. But the Pols tell the public we will give then the lottery money and then they cut back on the education budget a like amount. It is the biggest sham, were cheating on our future. I really hate the fact that they can get away with it and we the public let them. This is worse that the accountants stealing a quarter, because it affects the our future.
