ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Company Press Release

Advanced Engine Technologies Inc.'s OX-2 Engine to be Developed
for Use in Hybrid Electric Vehicles

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 1998--Emerging Company Report, the nationally
syndicated television program that profiles emerging-growth companies (http://www.emergingcompany.com), has
learned of a joint-venture agreement between Advanced Engine Technologies Inc. (OTC/BB:AENG - news),
legendary automotive designer Carroll Shelby and Unique Mobility Inc [AMEX:UQM - news].

Advanced Engine Technologies, oxtwo.com, is a Colorado company that owns the U.S. rights to
promote and market a revolutionary new internal combustion engine, known as the OX-2.

The eight-cylinder OX-2 is a new design, weighing only 140 pounds, with only three moving parts. The engine has
no valves, no crankshaft, produces no vacuum, yet is capable of surpassing the horsepower and torque of a
conventional 350 cubic-inch V-8 engine.

Shelby, famous for the Shelby Ford (NYSE:F - news) Mustang and Unique Mobility have entered into a
joint-venture agreement with Advanced Engine Technologies to develop the OX-2 engine for use in hybrid electric
vehicles. Shelby granted an exclusive interview to Emerging Company Report to discuss the venture.

''This joint venture represents a major step forward for Advanced Engine Technologies,'' said Shelby. ''I have not
been as impressed with any engine design I have seen over the last 50 years. With hybrid electric vehicles
representing the future of automobiles, this joint venture with Advanced Engine Technologies Inc. secures their
place in the industry.''

Hybrid electric vehicles use a combination of an internal combustion engine with an electric motor to power the
vehicle.

The company has not concentrated on approaching the major automobile manufacturers such as General Motors
(NYSE:GM - news) and Chrysler (NYSE:C - news) according to Chief Executive Officer Murray Bailey.

''New technologies from outside sources are met with resistance there,'' said Bailey. ''There are many, many
applications for internal combustion engines for which the OX-2 engine is well suited,'' said Bailey, ''including
automobiles, marine, aviation and standing engines. Once the emissions and design superiorities of the OX-2 are
recognized by the Big Three, we are confident they will sit down with us.''

Last week, the company announced the U.S. Army has agreed to a research and development effort to develop
the OX-2 engine for use in tanks.

This week's edition of Emerging Company Report, featuring the Shelby interview, can be seen on the Internet at
emergingcompany.com. The television program airs each Friday evening at 11 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m.
Pacific and again on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. Eastern, 8:30 a.m. Pacific on more than 140 cable TV systems
across the United States.

All, There's a rumor going around that someone who's shorting AENG paid a flunky reporter to write a negative story about the company. I don't know if it's coming, it's just a rumor. If it arrives, I want everyone to be prepared.

Shorts have been suspected of doing this at least a million times with many different companies, so this is nothing new. But, just incase we see an article show-up in the not too distant future, we'll need to examine the source and the information very carefully. I know of nothing negative about the OX2 engine or the company, so they'll need to dig very hard to maintain credibility.

In no way am I implying that Fhanestock is behind this. I have no clue who's behind this or even if it's for real. If it's a negative article by a flunky reporter, all shorts will be suspect.

Best of Luck, Greg
