They are easily achievable. All it takes is that all prison time is solitary. Give each cell a shower, a cot, and a Net terminal :-)
I don't see why jails need public or group facilities. Automate as much as possible - food delivery and tray return. Absolutely miminize interactions between crew and inmates. One of the worst features of modern jails is that the guards and the inmates know each other by name.

My problem with privately-run jails is the same I have with HMOs. The surest way to make a buck is to reduce the amount of services provided.

A solitary-setup jail would not make money. That's a hit society would have to take up front.

The USA is forcing the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (Yucca Mountain, a place to stash all those pesky nuke wastes) down the throat of the State of Nevada. Surely a human equivalent could be built somewhere remote. Like transarctic Alaska.
