Hi Ed: Yeah, there are a number of ways around the installation of IE4. A button to launch it, etc. Even if Netscape was on the computer everyone would use IE4 because it is written from the ground up for the Win98. All this will probably not be likely because the Win98 OS and IE4 are really one in the same. Also, there are already millions of copies of Win98 loaded on computers so nothing can be done about it. The 2 monitor deal works like this: Apple, mostly through accident, found that they could support more than one monitor on their motherboard. So they made it so you can plug in, let's say, 2 monitors (more if you want to install a card for each). Let's say you have the two monitors right in front of you and you are working on the right monitor. As you move your mouse to the left and off the screen, it pops up on the left monitor. So you can mouse back and forth between the two monitors, drag windows, etc. MSFT is now copying this feature. I think you have to have a monitor card for each new monitor. I know you can have two but I am not sure how many is the upper limit. If you ever use more than one monitor you will love it. Let's say you are doing photoshop. One monitor can hold all your tools and you can work on the other. Also, as you suggested, you can have different programs open. So on one monitor you can have SeeYouSeeMe (or some other cheap video) showing live broadcast of someone far away and on the other screen you can both be looking at a document together. How? Simple - you put your document on a web page and both of you can look at it at the same time. If you have a service like @Home (ie broadband internet) you can do the whole thing in real time with little distortion. Even without @Home, you can call the guy on the phone and look at each other, show each other pictures, edit documents, etc. Available now!
