Pancho, that a money manager with enough of a resume/track record to make it onto CNBC doesn't know that Toronto Dominion is a bank is ridiculous (there are only a half dozen or so banks in Canada anyway and TD does a lot of biz in the US too), but he didn't have a clue so he just made something up. Is that what you meant by "Cramer style"?

Boy and girls, another down-tick in trailing S&P earnings. Trailing 12 month earnings on the S&P500 now stands at $39.54, down from $39.72 last week and, more importantly, down form $39.87 a year ago. That's right folks, trailing 12 month earnings on the S&P 500 actually dropped 1% from a year ago and they continue to drop. Bad enough that PEs expanded so much from a rising market with flat earnings - now we get PE expansion from falling earnings in a flat market.

It's a new era.
