Stock price was 14 3/4 x 14 15/16. As I said, I waited 30 minutes. Prices in this range (and I believe much lower) are commonly quoted in 32s (on NASDAQ). However that thought did come to mind and a quick survey of the stocks I follow showed quite a few quoted in 32s.

I don't think it was a MM problem. I believe the broker (Datek) is not presenting orders to the market. I have suspected for quite some time that they were holding orders and slow to send them to the open market (vs filling internally or hoping to) but in this case there is no doubt about it if my understanding (and apparently yours) is correct.

I hope either Steve or Irby or Funk will give me their explanation.
