So true. When you look at the last presidential election less than 50% of qualified voters even bothered to vote at all. Of those only 48% voted for Clinton, so in the final analysis Clinton was elected by less than 25% of the eligible voters. We have the government we deserve. Get out and VOTE!

history by winning 49 states.


Sorry. Reagan squeeked by in the popular vote.

Clinton's mandate is much bigger, as he had a wider margin of the popular vote. The electoral college is a winner take all system and it doesn't mean shit.

The majority voted against reagan and bush as well.
