Hi Eric, something suggests to me that you may not see a new full time CFO until after the lawsuit. I believe it's likely they will have to restate earnings.

Although the Novell picture does look a little brighter than it has for a while, we're heading into earnings warning season. Could cause some tech sell offs initially...hell, could cause the whole market to sell off. I think the stock may see a trading range of 9 3/4 to maybe 11 3/4 till just before Q3 earnings. If I get back in, I'll probably do it the end of August...just before any earnings run up, or if we see any significant downside from the lawsuit. I think folks may be under estimating the short term impact of this. Anyone have any idea where this stands?

Thanks,

sf

Eric I wish it were true

"it appears that the down size business model is the one that may eventually work. Let's hope that CEO Schmidt see's it the same way too."

I'm afraid he will not take the steps that are necessary before revenues collapse under the weight of the NT5.0 assault. Moreover I still think that the BOD and especially "Tutu" is calling the shots. Eric is just another hired gun.
