jon, i'm currently looking at iomega zip and jaz drives, determining which to purchase. your solid explanation of dvd has me wondering if this storage technology will in any way supplant zip/jaz?

Re: DVD'/DVD-RAM's

I don't see any way that DVD doesn't eventually replace CD-ROM's, CD-R's, CD-RW's, audio CD's, and VCR's.

DVD's are going to replace a lot of electronic devices in the future.

DVD is big business and to see CREAF come out with the first affordable DVD-RAM drive was pretty exciting, IMO.

Jon,
I see that intel will be showcasing several arcade games at e3 and will be pushing the open arcade platform(arcade games based on p2). do you see this as a possible new market for creaf also. on intels website the platform specs call for creaf soundblaster pro compatibility.

Hey Jon,

Now that we see that I was right about Creaf, and you were wrong, I wanted to ask you a question. Did you sell your position you bought at $28 for a loss? Or are you still holding on to it?

Happy Investing!
